The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. At this year's CIIE, MEZOLEN successfully hosted the "Fertile Soil Cultivates Forests, Ecosystem Win-Win" Strategic Ecosystem Cooperation Launch Ceremony, a milestone made possible by the continuous nurturing and leadership of the fertile ground that is the Wujin Green Building Industry Demonstration Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "Green Construction Zone").

As the nation's only "Green Building Industry Agglomeration Demonstration Zone," the Green Construction Zone has consistently been committed to exploring green and low-carbon development pathways. For this event, the delegation was led by Xu Ning, Vice Chairman of the Wujin District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Party Working Committee Secretary, and Management Committee Director of the Green Construction Zone. Participants also included Xie Jian, Deputy Director of the Green Construction Zone Management Committee; Li Tao, Deputy Director of the Wujin Green Construction Zone Management Committee and Second-Level Researcher; Cao Bing, Head of the Investment Promotion and Talent Recruitment Department of the Green Construction Zone; Liu Yu, Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Department of the Green Construction Zone; and Yao Hanjie, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion and Talent Recruitment Department of the Green Construction Zone.

Throughout MEZOLEN's development journey, the Green Construction Zone has consistently played the role of a "forest cultivator." Appointment Ceremony: Building a new bridge for China-Spain Green Cooperation

During the appointment ceremony segment, Li Tao, Deputy Director of the Wujin Green Construction Zone Management Committee and Second-Level Researcher, took the stage to deliver a speech. He pointed out: "Since the establishment of the Spain Investment Promotion Center of the China-Europe (Changzhou) Green Innovation Park, thanks to the active promotion of Mr. Joan Cirera, extensive connections have been established with government departments and key institutions such as the Sant Cugat del Vallès City Council in Spain and the Catalonia Regional Entrepreneurs' Chamber of Commerce. Recently, Mr. Joan Cirera has also meticulously screened and provided the park with a list of high-quality Spanish companies showing strong interest in investing in China, building a robust platform for exchange and cooperation between Wujin, the park, and Spanish political and business circles".

On behalf of the China-Europe (Changzhou) Green Innovation Park, Deputy Director Li Tao presented Mr. Joan Cirera with the letter of appointment for "Chief Operating Officer of the Spain Investment Promotion Center." He stated that this appointment not only acknowledges Mr. Leira's past contributions but also conveys expectations for deepening cooperation in the future.

After receiving the appointment, Mr. Jonthi Leira shared his thoughts: "With the most sincere gratitude, I formally accept this appointment. I wholeheartedly thank you all for the trust you have placed in me and for this immense honor. The city of Changzhou, and especially the innovative Wujin Green Construction Zone, is a beacon of progress and opportunity. My mission is very clear: using the Spain Investment Promotion Center of the China-Europe (Changzhou) Green Innovation Park, established by the Green Construction Zone, as a platform, to serve as a crucial strategic bridge connecting the vibrant economy of Changzhou with the dynamic Spanish market."

He further stated: "I will dedicate my full efforts to promoting the unique advantages of the Wujin Green Construction Zone and Changzhou, and to establishing stable and mutually beneficial partnerships. Let us join hands to attract Spanish investment and advanced technology, and together open a new chapter of growth and cooperation. I accept this mission with immense enthusiasm and look forward to working with all of you towards a successful future."
